Our first brief of the year was to create an intro for a new tv show based upon a book or graphic novel which hasn't already being turned into a film or show yet.
I choose the awesome DMZ from Vertigo comics by Brian Wood.
I enjoyed this brief alot as it gave me a good excuse to play around in After Effects to create something that I am happy with in terms of looks and feel for the original work it is based upon. To create the Manhattan map I used Maya and Illustrator to create the images from scans of the graphic novel.
