Mini Cooper S: Modeling Process

I have always liked the look of the modern Mini ever since it was introduced back in 2000.
For a long amount of time I wanted this to be my first car, but never could afford one.
This is a fantastic take on a classic design, using big chunky lines giving it a retro feel.

25th July:
The best, and only way I start, a car model is to do the front wheel arch then work out from there.
8th August:
Once the front was done it was pretty quick to finish off the general shape, adding the rear lights was a time consuming trying to get the shape and lines right for each view.
10th August:
The front lights took alot longer to model than I thought but happy with the outcome. The overall shape of the car feels good. Getting down to adding the smaller details and lines.
18th August:
Almost at the stage to smooth it all out and get the corners correct. All that's left to model are the mirrors and wheels.
4th September:
Onto the home stretch now, really proud of the alloy wheels they took a good amount of time to model. Only need to model the mirrors and it is done!
9th September:
